Jordan Leigh Ann

This is our puppy. Jordan is about 12 years old now and here is her story.

Jeff and I had been dating for about a year when he had decided to adopt a dog. We found Jordan at Operation Kindness oon August 25, 2001 and when we saw her we just had to have her. They didn't know her exact age but they thought she was about 4 or 5. So we took her home and on that day a new bond had been formed.

Since then, we have celebrated her birthday on August 25th because that was the day we brought her home.

So she has been so happy with us and we have have so happy to have her.

Well, about 3 weeks ago Jordan started coughing constantly. All night, all day just non stop. We took her to the vet and she found a mass in her mouth that she was very concerned with. We talked about removing it but we needed to have xrays done to see if there were anymore masses or tumors internally. We left with some doggy hydricodne (sp) to supress her cough while we scrammbled to fund the funds to cover all of this.
A few days later, she had the xrays done and they revealed a 'collasped trachea' which we also found out that is teminal.
Please keep us in your hearts because we have always known that this day will come when she will not be around but for us it will be just way too soon.

Week 7...

Jeff is now 7 weeks unemployed and this was my 1st week at Spirit Halloween. I have heard everything from 'you working at Spirit is a major inconvenience to us (Jeff) to 'if I get this job you're quitting Spirit'.
Me working there started as just for a great Christmas but now it's more to buy groceries. I have worked about 70 hours this week and only seeing Cole for a total of maybe 1 hour a day. I'm ok with this. He is bonding with his Daddy and I like working there.
I don't like the negative attitude that I get because I work the extras hours. I hear things like 'are you working there to get away from me (Jeff)?' I feel that SOMETIMES. Is that bad? Am I a bad wife and/or mother? I don't think so. I wish I knew.

Eggshells

So. Today is September 29th. Some might say that I have been just a bit CRANKY. Well, their right. I have to try to stay positive and supportive at home, that have arranged my crankyness to be at work and I'm starting to feel bad about it.
So please bear with me. I'm trying not to break the eggshells that I walk on everyday.

Being nice

OK...I am so freaking tired of be told 'if you would be nice to me'. Maybe I need my meds changed. I don't know.

Short week...

So, it's a short week. You would normally think great but not this week. Monday. Labor day...a day off. Great. Tuesday. Get up. Drive to work. 9:02am...get a call from Jeff. Something's wrong. Did you have a wreck? Get a ticket? Nope, better. FIRED! Can you believe it?? A place that he was well liked, doing a fabulous job, and then he goes in Tuesday and he's told he's no longer needed. For what reason? Don't know. Texas is a 'fire at will state'. I just don't understand that. No reason at all was given and his company has elected NOT to disclose the reason. Is the right? Can that be done??
Wednesday and Thursday business as usual.
Friday driving home to top the end of the week...I get a speeding ticket! I'm gonna have a great weekend!!

Friends & Family

There some friends in my life that I consider more than 'just' friends.
You know who you are and I hope that you know how much you mean to me.

My boys

Nathan is 14 going on 25...HA!
Really, he'll be 15 in August and is getting to be quite the handsome young man. He races BMX and is pretty good. He was invited to be a part of a racing team, Sun Bru, and is pretty stoked about it.
Cole is 2 and is so sweet. Of course I'm his Mommy, so I'm a bit partial, but he's pretty cute too! If you ask him 'who's your best friend?' He will tell you ever time Aidan Davis. Him and Aidan are classmates at school and I hope to be friends for a very long time.

I have never seen 2 people love each other more than Nathan and Cole. I don't think Nathan ever thought he would love someone as much as he loves his brother.
